Rooted in compassion and growing through innovation: the story behind Avance Care Group.

The gap between healthcare demand and workforce capacity continues to widen, placing increasing pressure on healthcare professionals. JOYinCARE was founded to help relieve this burden by reducing the physical strain on care professionals and preserving the joy of caregiving. Driven by this mission, the company developed innovative solutions that truly make a difference in daily healthcare practice. This dedication to meaningful impact led to the launch of Confexion, the company’s own production facility for custom-made lifting slings.

As the organization evolved, so did its commitment to comprehensive care. Today, JOYinCARE is part of Avance Care Group, which now also includes TR-Care, a full-service maintenance division. Together, they provide healthcare institutions with high-quality products and services, delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible.

2008 - Founding of JOYinCARE
JOYinCARE was founded to help relieve the increasing pressure on the care sector by reducing the physical strain on healthcare professionals and preserving the joy of caregiving. Driven by this mission, JOYinCARE developed innovative solutions that truly make a difference in daily healthcare practice.
2018 - Confexion joins the group
This dedication to meaningful impact led to the launch of Confexion, and now since 2012 the company’s own production facility for custom-made lifting slings. In 2018 Confexion became part of the group.
2020 - Founders transition ownership
Founders transition ownership to Robert van Leeuwen en Corné de Heij – backed by Karmijn Kapitaal (investor in diversity).
2023 - TR-Care joins the group
TR-Care, a full-service maintenance division and founded in 1993, becomes part of the group. Together, these companies provide healthcare institutions with high-quality products and services, delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible.
2023 - Leadership growth
Knop Investments acquires the shares of Karmijn Kapitaal. Loes Schilderink and Wybren Terpstra join the group’s management team.
2025 - Establishment of Avance Care Group
As the organization evolved, so did its commitment to comprehensive care. Today, the JOYinCARE Group evolved into the Avance Care Group, establishing a solid foundation for its companies and setting the stage for further expansion.
